Academics

Tarbiya Academic Scholars Institute (TASI) is a full K–8 learning institute providing an Islamic alternative to traditional school for homeschooling families. Guided by our Akhira-First Academics philosophy, TASI offers a structured program that fully replaces public or private school while bridging the gap between homeschooling and mainstream education.

How It Works

  • Families register with CCSD as homeschoolers.
  • Students attend our program in person Monday–Thursday from 8:30 AM–2:00 PM at Masjid Al-Noor.
  • Our classrooms are led by dedicated Tarbiya Instructors who provide mentorship, guidance, accountability, and individualized support throughout the school day.
  • Grades K–2 (Little Scholars) develop strong literacy, math, and critical thinking skills through a Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)-accredited curriculum, enhanced with hands-on workbooks, and interactive projects.
  • Grades 3–8 (Primary & Preparatory) participate in live, online classes taught by certified teachers through our educational partner, Bayaan Academy, accredited by Cognia and Middle States Association (MSA) of Colleges and Schools. During these lessons, Tarbiya Instructors facilitate learning in the classroom, provide one-on-one support, reinforce concepts, and cultivate a positive, engaging Islamic learning environment.

Learning Model

  • Grades K–2: WASC-accredited foundational curriculum completed in person through guided instruction, hands-on workbooks, projects, and interactive learning.
  • Grades 3–8: Live online instruction from certified teachers through our educational partner, Bayaan Academy, accredited by Cognia, facilitated in-person by Tarbiya Instructors who provide academic support, mentorship, interactive projects, and accountability.
  • Personalized Support: Ongoing assessments and individualized guidance help students grow academically and reach their full potential.

Admissions Process

We encourage families to apply by July 31, 2026 for the start of the Fall semester to ensure placement before the academic year begins. After July 31, we continue to offer rolling admissions for K–8 students throughout the academic year as space permits. Children must be at least 5 years old (or turn 5 during the current academic year) to enroll. If your child is younger, we will add your family to our priority list and contact you once they become age-eligible.

  1. Submit Your Application
Begin by completing our online application. This helps us learn about your child and determine current availability. Enroll by July 31, 2026!
  1. Admissions Review & Acceptance
If a spot is open, you will receive an official acceptance email from our team with next steps. If spots are full, you will be placed on our priority list.
  2. Secure Your Spot
To secure your child's place, complete any remaining forms sent and submit your registration fee. This will secure your child’s spot for the calendar year and/or place a priority hold on our waitlist.
    1. If no seats become available during our calendar year, you will have the option for a full refund or roll-over your registration fee to be at the top of the waitlist for the next calendar year.
  3. Receive Welcome Packet
This will contain all the information you need to prepare for our program and set up your recurring 11 month payment plan.
  4. File Notice of Intent with CCSD
A Notice of Intent (NOI) with the Clark County School District (CCSD) is an official form that parents file to declare their intent to homeschool their child within the district. We can assist you with this process.
