Little Scholars is a pilot Madrasah program for kindergarten-age children (must be at least 4 years old). The program supports early academic development while nurturing Islamic character through tarbiya and socio-emotional learning.
Academic Foundations
Academic instruction focuses on:
- Early literacy and language development
- Early writing skills
- Early numeracy and foundational math skills
- Early Arabic literacy
- Creative and naturalistic exploration
Learning experiences are developmentally appropriate and designed to build foundational knowledge in children for future academic pathways.
Islamic Studies & Tarbiya
Islamic instruction includes:
- Introduction to short Qur'an surahs
- Daily practice of wudu & salah
- Stories of the Prophets
- Sunnah-based socio-emotional learning emphasizing adab, self-regulation, cooperation, and respectful behavior
Islamic tarbiya is integrated throughout the program day and reinforced through modeling and daily practice.
Program Structure & Pricing
- Duration: March–May (3-month pilot program)
- Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 8:30 am–2:00 pm
- Location: Masjid Al-Noor
- Age Group: Kindergarten-age children (must be at least 4 years old)
- Instruction: Led by trained Tarbiya Instructor
- Pricing: $1,300 total, billed as $325 per month over four months
- Registration Fee: $145 (required to secure placement)
